Challenge

Brickell World Plaza required a system capable of monitoring high volumes of building activity while maintaining a streamlined entry experience for tenants and visitors. At the time of installation, the development incorporated one of the largest deployments of high-resolution surveillance cameras in the nation, requiring careful planning of infrastructure and system performance to ensure reliable monitoring across the entire property.

Process

SDI implemented a design-build approach that integrated access control, surveillance, and audio-visual technologies into a coordinated building technology framework.
